Take a Grand Spanish Villa – Add a touch of Morocco – Some spice from China – Some handmade lights from the villages of Mexico – A twist from old India – Some color from Turkey – A lot of Old San Juan – Set it atop a six acre hillside with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea…
Casa Bromelia is located on a quiet neighborhood street in the quaint fishing Village of Esperanza on the Southside of Vieques Island with views of the calm Caribbean Sea and keys.
El Quenepo is a Bravos Boyz favorite place for any celebration on Vieques island. When we are celebrating we can be seen popping corks with Kate!
We almost always eat the specials and struggle to choose as they all sound delightful. Creative uses of local ingredients from fish and lobster to greens, herbs and local fruit!
We love the passion fruit Caipirhinia to start while perusing the menu.
Some of our favorite starters are the Fire and Ice Prawns, Asian Bib salad, Tuna Cigars,Spring rolls and any of the specials.
Lobster is often a special and these are the succulent Caribbean lobsters caught in the Vieques waters, an incredible Halibut special, Marsala Goat dish, Mofongo and any of the other specials.
Desserts should never be missed and Chocolate Mousse and Carrot cake are some of our favs!
El Quenepo should not be missed for a night on the Malecon in Esperanza.
