Lazy Jacks

Lazy Jacks is the hot spot South side watering hole where you will Karaoke with ex pats, locals and entire wedding parties. A great place for lunch or casual dinner with pizza and other treats while taking in one of the most picturesque views on the island.

El Quenepo

El Quenepo is a Bravos Boyz favorite place for any celebration on Vieques island. When we are celebrating we can be seen popping corks with Kate!

We almost always eat the specials and struggle to choose as they all sound delightful. Creative uses of local ingredients from fish and lobster to greens, herbs and local fruit!

We love the passion fruit Caipirhinia to start while perusing the menu.

Some of our favorite starters are the Fire and Ice Prawns, Asian Bib salad, Tuna Cigars,Spring rolls and any of the specials.

Lobster is often a special and these are the succulent Caribbean lobsters caught in the Vieques waters, an incredible Halibut special, Marsala Goat dish, Mofongo and any of the other specials.

Desserts should never be missed and Chocolate Mousse and Carrot cake are some of our favs!

El Quenepo should not be missed for a night on the Malecon in Esperanza.

Conuco Restaurant

conuco

Conuco meaning a small farm where meats and vegetables are grown for the farm’s family is one of Bravos Boyz favorite places to enjoy a great meal on Vieques island. Situated on Main Street in Isabel Segunda across the street from Banco Popular the building with its West Indies exterior and modern interior sets the perfect stage for the chef’s food to be savored.

Some of our favorite starter dishes are croquetas and ceviche served on tostones. For main dishes Mofongo is always a crowd pleaser as well as Churrasco and the special fish dishes Chef Rebecca creates.

Bananas Restaurant

Bananas Restaurant

Located on the scenic Malecon in Esperanza on Vieques Island is a favorite watering hole and eatery known as Bananas.  We love to have a Margarita here because they custom make them and all of the Boyz are satisfied,  Kiwi Kim makes a distinctively nice Margarita and Stephanie steps up the competition with her own twists.  Either way you will enjoy!

There are many tasty treats on their casual menu and we LOVE the hot wings to start.

We also all love the Pesacador “fish” sandwhich either fried, grilled or blackened and our favorite side is the lentil salad (homemade potato chips if you can).  The simple pizzas are a light treat with a cold beer.

During high season, check out the upstairs at Bananas which becomes an open air night club called Afterglow!  A very cool place to chillax with friends, make new friends and enjoy the views with a cool drink.
