Sea Patch, located on the North Shore of Vieques Island in the beach side neighborhood of Bravos de Boston, sits in the heart of the lovely Vieques Garden District, surrounded by exceptional tropical gardens designed and maintained by the well-known Bravos Boyz.

Sea Patch was recently renovated, and a spectacular Master Suite was added with Bravos Boyz signature polished concrete counters and integrated sinks. The tile throughout the house is a beautiful and natural white coral specially imported from the Dominican Republic.

A gorgeous pool was also constructed and surrounded by the same white coral stone and includes  large spacious terraces and a large covered gazebo. There are two natural ponds that trickle water as well as three separate water features that were created from huge steel pots used to cook down sugar cane into sugar many decades ago. The water features include fish and water hyacinths. The property lives and feels like your own private resort and is a favorite among our returning guests.

Sea Patch is a spacious 3-bedroom, 3½-bath Vieques vacation rental house. Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds and one has a queen-size bed, and each bedroom has its own bathroom en suite. The Master Bedroom opens to the pool and beautiful gardens. The other two bedrooms each have their own balcony with ocean views. The house sits a few steps from lovely La Chata Beach that is a Bravos Boyz favorite for a morning swim, beach combing for sea glass or to watch the surfers catch a wave.

The property is well appointed with high quality linens, a fully-equipped kitchen, and some great artwork. You will find everything you need to comfortably enjoy your time here in paradise.

Bravos Boyz also designed the spectacular tropical gardens with an extensive plant list including; Puerto Rican Royal Palms, Areca palms, Bottle Palms, Fish tale palms, Bismarkia palms, pomegranate trees, key lime, colorful Ixoras and Crotons, Schefleras, Birds of Paradise, bananas, philodendruns, heliconias, gingers, orchids,  fragrant Frangiapani, Ylang Ylang and white spider lilies and an occasional visit from friendly Iguanas.

Absolutely perfect!!!
Posted on: 12/17/2016
The house was clean updated and had all the amenities you would have at home. Very relaxing and not the normal tourist island. All the beaches are worth the short drive and we were the only people on most of them. I will be back and the family seconds the idea!!!!

Sea Patch House in Vieques, puerto Rico
Posted on: 5/2/2016
House, pool, and property were excellent, beautifully furnished and maintained. Beach chairs and beach towels were provided, as well as some snorkeling equipment. Providing starter soap and toilet paper and a few condiments(salt & pepper, etc), plentiful kitchen utensils made cooking our own meals easy. Bravos Boyz, the rental agency, was exceptionally responsive whenever we made an inquiry about anything. We loved working with Laura and Dave.

Well-equipped beautiful, comfortable home
Posted on: 4/20/2016

Sea Patch is a beautiful, comfortable home for travelers.

It is fully equipped with all your needs for vacation. The kitchen has updated appliances and all of the cookware and utensils you need to cook at home. The outdoor area is lovely with several areas to enjoy meals, grill or float in the pool. The gardens are lovely as well. Do bring mosquito spray.

You'll definitely want to explore the many beautiful beaches and the house provides beach towels, beach chairs and coolers for travelling.

The management (Bravo Boyz) is very accommodating in meeting you at the airport or ferry and providing information to help in your stay. The house was well maintained.

My only disappointment is that the house doesn't provide much of a view of the water. It is a short walk to the beach but the ocean here is rough and not good for swimming. Beaches on the south part of the island are better suited for swimming and lounging.

Beautiful Villa Made our Trip to Vieques Very Enjoyable
Posted on: 8/14/2015
Our family of four (myself, husband, 2 children ages 12 and 14) very much enjoyed our stay at Sea Patch. Dave from Bravo Boyz met us at the airport, drove us to Avis and then back to the villa. He explained all of the many features of the villa and provided helpful insights into Vieques. This made for the perfect start to our trip. The villa was very clean, spacious and had everything we could possibly need including paper products, floats and boogie boards and a very large washer/dryer. We loved the outdoor area with the pool and tropical trees and plants. We did not find the lack of window shades in the master bedroom and bath to be a problem. The plants surrounding the house sufficiently blocked the early morning sun so the sun did not awake us. Due to reflection, the only way to see into the bathroom is if someone were to press his or her face against the window (we tested this). We collected a colorful assortment of shells, rocks and sea glass at the Chata beach, just a few steps from the house. Vieques has so many beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants to enjoy. Don't miss breakfast at the Viequense bakery in town where there is a nice mix of locals and tourists, lunch from the Sol Food Truck, coco locos at Arena Mar, happy hours at Bananas and dinner at Coqui Fire. We highly recommend Sea Patch!

Amazing!
Posted on: 8/14/2015
We stayed at this gorgeous home with out 6 and 8 year old boys. Everyone had their own en suite room with wonderful sheets and towels provided. The pool is spectacular and we used the boogie boards, snorkeling equipment and sand toys all provided. The boys loved the 20 step walk to la chata beach where they jumped in the waves. We also hit up sun bay, Chivas and Luna - you can't go wrong. We did the bio tour and boat charter through Blackbeard sports. The house was very clean, organized and well stocked. We cooked in and ate out. There is a great little covered table area next to the pool and grill, which we used. The a/c and fans worked well. The landscaping is gorgeous and Alberto from bravos boyz got us here and showed us around. Definitely need to rent a jeep to get around. Overall, amazing!

Loved Sea Patch: BUT MUST GET BLINDS FOR MASTER AND BATH
Posted on: 10/8/2015
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Patch. There was so much that was terrific about our stay that I hate to give it a "very good" review rather than an "excellent" review, but it appears that the owners (not the Bravos Boyz) are dug in deep on a specific point, so I'm making my voice heard via this review on that one point. It is a bit ridiculous that no blinds are installed in the master bath or bedroom. I understand that some feel that blinds take away from that "beachy feel" but a lot of us go on vacation to sleep a little longer than usual, which is impossible with the amount of morning sun in the master. Additionally, it is a bit inexcusable for there not to be any level of privacy in the master bath because there are no blinds on the windows. In fact, on one day I was showering in the master and one of the excellent Bravos Boyz staff was on the grounds to perform maintenance and there I was to behold. I can say it was bit awkward when we made eye contact. Now, I'm a dude and he was a dude, so no issues there, but if it was my wife I would have been really pissed (and not at the Bravos Boyz). The owners of this property need to realize that this is not an aesthetic debate, it's a necessity. Before we traveled, we read about the lack of blinds in the master on other reviews, so we shipped black plastic sheeting to the island to cover the master bedroom windows, which did the trick in the bedroom. We did not realize that the bathroom was a problem as well. In the end, we feel like we should not have had to do this when the fix is so simple by installing blinds. Please, please install blinds. We want to come back and don't want to have the whole room draped in black plastic. Ok, rant over and on to the many other ridiculously, awesome attributes of this house. The house and grounds are fabulous. We loved the pool and cabana and found that the towels, linens, bed, wifi, and phones were all excellent and appreciated. The decor is great and the landscaping is top notch. You really feel like you have your own little piece of paradise in a private, upscale setting. If you are looking to cook while there, I did plenty of it. The supplies provided are good. A couple of things that would be excellent to add are a few sheet pans and at least one non-stick skillet for eggs and pancakes (but I feel like I'm splitting hairs pointing that out). As others have noted, if you are a serious cook, pack a few zip locks of your favorite spices. It makes things so much easier when it comes to cooking on the island. Also, I would encourage anyone who is an eater (or "foodie" though I hate that term) to use Buen Provecho for provisioning or simply walk into the store and buy provisions there. Chris does a great job of getting hard to get things like top quality cheezes, meats, and produce to the island. We used him for provisioning and were very pleased with what he provided and it was all stocked in the house upon our arrival. When it comes to security (which is important to us), the house felt like a fortress with concrete walls, extremely secure doors, cameras, and a modern security system. Because of these, we slept without any anxiety whatsoever and felt confident when we left valuables in the house while away at the beaches. For those who have not stayed here before, this is not a "beach view" or "beach front" rental. The beach is in fact a stones throw away and I believe is viewable from at least one of the balconies. And the beach is beautiful. But it is not a swimmable beach. This did not bother us a bit. We enjoyed walks on the beach that was literally next door. But you'll need to go to the south to enjoy the very best beaches for swimming and fun. Of course, if you come to Vieques and fail to rent a jeep to visit these beaches, you're crazy and have not done your research. I also have to say that we loved staying on the North side with the real "town" so close and vendors like Buen Provec

Beautiful House
Posted on: 8/14/2015
We just returned after a week in Vieques. Sea patch is a very nice upscale home with exceptional decor and great amenities. The house was impeccable and the pool was clean. The nearby beach is very rocky but makes for a nice walk. We walked into town for our morning walk every day. We rented a mini van from the only rental in town. Here are some tips for future visitors to this house. Take little ziplock bags with herbs and spices if you want to do any cooking. They have utensils and pots and pans but it's kinda limited. Buy ice from the store and keep that in your freezer. The ice maker is slow. There's a water puddle at the top of the stairs when it rains. Be careful. The windows do not have shades in the master. If you need dark to be able to sleep, Pick one of the upstairs bedrooms and hang a towel or sheet on the door. You can hear the dogs barking and the roosters early in the morning in the upstairs bedrooms but not in the master. The master bath has big windows and no shades or curtains. It rains on the island even in February but the sun always follows. Take sunscreen and bug spray. Beer rum and scotch are cheap on the island but eating out can be expensive. We cooked fresh fish on the grill. The fish market has fresh catch. It's right next to the ferry pier. The beaches on the south side of the island are amazing. We spent an entire day at sun beach. That's the only one with bathrooms, showers and a restaurant. I wouldn't go to green beach. The road is full of huge potholes. Bio bay was amazing. Spray yourself well before you go. There are only two gas stations on the island and they're both on the north side in Isabel, right next to each other, and owned by the same guy! Sometimes there's no gas on the island for a couple of days. When you're on island time, no problem man! But if you're from the big city on the mainland it can be quite bothersome and irritating to pay 125 bucks a day for your car rental and not be able to drive it because you are low on gas. A good policy is to fill up every time you drive past the gas station. Keep your tank full. There's lots of cops on the island and I think they are quite liberal with handing out parking tickets of $50 to $75. Be careful of how and where you park. You have to drive over to the "collectoria" to pay your ticket. It's near the gas stations. Back to sea patch, it's one of the best houses that we have ever rented. We completed the 1000 piece coca cola puzzle. Would have been nice to have dominoes or checkers. It's nice that they have wifi but they do need a newer router as the current one doesn't make it to the cabana or the master bedroom. There's a shower by the pool but the wash water flows back into the pool and makes a big puddle so be careful not to slip as you walk out the kitchen door to the pool. There's a really good weber charcoal grill. Charcoal is available at the bigger grocery stores. The pool house has beach chairs and boogie boards. They also have some snorkel equipment and a small surf board. I want to thank the Bravos Boys for providing such a nice house. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely return. The gal who picked us up at the airport and took us to the house was extremely helpful and nice.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review of Sea Patch. We are overwhelmed and very much appreciate your comment that this is the best rental house you have ever rented. We work very hard for our guests and enjoy your appreciation. We hope to see you back again soon at Sea Patch!

Disappointed with the details
Posted on: 8/14/2015
The property is mostly as it appears in the photos. There are things that renters should be aware of: The master bedroom on the main floor has no privacy and the very nice walk in shower is viewable from outside the house. "The other two bedrooms each have their own balcony with ocean views" is an overstatement at best - perhaps partial view of a wee bit of the ocean through an alley would be more accurate. The pans are very limited if you plan to cook in. No sheet trays or casseroles, cake pans, etc. The roof leaks when it rains, which it did a lot of while were there. The very pretty tile is very slippery when wet. Since the leak was at the top of the stairs, it made heading down for a morning cup of coffee more of an adventure than expected. We notified them at departure and the response was that they were aware of it, but it happens when it rains. I would be cautious with children or older people, it is hard to spot the puddles before you step in them. The ice maker is insufficient if you are a party of 4 and use ice at all. We called about it thinking a setting could be changed but got no call back. The pool is very nice and we enjoyed it. While there is plenty of security on the house and a gate to lock, the property is surrounded by a short fence comprised of a couple strands of barbed wire. Frequently we found several dogs out in the yard and around the pool, using the very pretty water gardens to drink from. If you have concerns about sharing with dogs, it may be problematic - but since dogs run loose everywhere that would be a concern in most places. "The house sits a few steps from lovely La Chata Beach that is a Bravos Boyz favorite for a morning swim, beach combing for sea glass or to watch the surfers catch a wave." - the individual who gave us a tour of the property upon arrival took great pains to mention multiple times that the beach is a "walking beach", not for swimming. I agree with her, it is not for the faint of heart or even the mildly crazy to swim in. It is very rocky with heavy wave action much of the time we were there. It is, however, a great walking beach and we spent considerable time looking for sea glass there. We were VERY disappointed not to be able to go for a morning swim without a drive to a better location. The house is "built for air conditioning" translates into that being the only option. The windows do not open so you cannot enjoy the sound of the ocean indoors, even when the weather is mild.

Perfect Island Retreat
Posted on: 8/14/2015
We were 2 couples sharing the home. There was plenty of room for a 3rd couple. Bravos Boyz service was excellent. Alberto was prepared to answer all of our questions and was available to assist with a few minor problems we had with coffee maker and air conditioning controller. The property is truly lovely, the garden was amazing. The home was very well kept, clean inside and out. Beds, linens and towels were as good as any first rate hotel. We were not disappointed by this rental! The pocket beach was a few steps down the road, convenient for a dip or beach combing. We used the beach chairs and cooler when we traveled to several other larger beaches on the island. The pool and outdoor living areas were wonderful to relax in after beaching activities. Really hard to say what we liked least! Leaving? However, when we visit again, we will bring some cooking supplies with us rather than rounding them up at the grocery stores on the island. Just items like salt, pepper, seasonings, zip lock bags, laundry soap, coffee sweetener.

The Best Tropical Vacation I've Ever Had
Posted on: 8/14/2015
Just returned from a stay at Sea Patch Beach House in Vieques. What a fantastic trip! The house was impeccable..and so very comfortable and luxurious. The view of our private beach was incredible; especially having dinner, watching the sunset over the Atlantic. Our intimate pool was inviting to take a morning dip in and was kept clean and fresh by our hosts; The Bravos Boyz. The Bravos Boyz were incredibly hospitable. They made sure that every need desired was taken care of promptly, even giving us expert information on the island and all of it's wonders. I've traveled the world, and this property and it's owners personal care were one of the best experiences that I have had. I recommend them and this island to everyone. What a great time. Cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful!

We just got back from there and had a wonderful time! The house was perfect, all the beaches great, and Dave that met us at the airport, gave a lot of good information on the town, places to go and eat, and the beaches. I could have stayed another week and can't wait to go back! If u want a good house, great area, you have to go with Bravo Boyz!!! Best beach for us was Media Luna, and places to eat on the southside all seemed to be good.

Heavenly
Posted on: 8/14/2015
Very comfortable home that has almost everything you need when away from home for a week. Home has comfortable beds, it is clean, spacious, has great showers, and a nice soaking tub. Also, had an alarm which helps us feel just as safe as we do at home. I only have one recommendation to make this house a perfect five in all categories. Invest in 10 room darkening shades, 8 for the master, and one to cover each of the doors in the bedrooms upstairs. All research shows that temperature of a room and light in the room majorly impacts one's ability to sleep. We live an extremely stressed life when not on vacation. One of the things I cherish on vacation is the ability to catch up on my sleep. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so on this trip because I cannot sleep with light in the room. Other than that, this home is absolutely perfect. Well stocked kitchen, all beach chairs and towels provided, bug spray and several items in the kitchen that one normally has to buy when renting a home. You have a gem here!!

Peaceful retreat

Your experience with the Bravos Boyz will only be top notch. This was my 9th trip in 10 years to the island, and the last 5 times I stayed at one of their properties. You will not be disappointed! They get it, when it comes to style, what you want in a beach getaway, timeliness when the property needs some attention, and their staff is amazing.

Sea Patch is a lovely home with a fabulous pool and within an ea
Posted on: 8/14/2015
We expected we were renting a nice place but Sea Patch far exceeded our expectations. The house is attractive and comfortable. The pool was much bigger than we expected and we spent lots of time relaxing in the pool area. There is a nice shaded area but also plenty of space in the sun for sunbathing. Bravos Boyz provided excellent and responsive service. I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future. The house was nicely appointed and we had almost everything we needed. There are pots and pans, dishes and plenty of glassware(plastic and glass) as well as a good blender and a big coffee maker. We cooked at home a good bit and needed a baking sheet and extra casserole dish but we bought disposable ones. There was beach equipment and beach towels available as well. There was plenty of privacy - each bedroom had its own bathroom and the two upstairs bedrooms each had a private open deck - and the house and yard are walled so the pool area is completely private as well. We loved Vieques and immensely enjoyed BioBay and exploring many of the beaches located on the island. I expect we will return to Vieques and Sea Patch in the future.

Relaxing in style
Posted on: 8/14/2015
The house is great - the photos don't do it justice... The service was good the only thing was needing to set the alarm and lock the gates all the time made us feel a little unsafe - but had no problems. I would say you get what you pay for on Vieques..there is a great variety of properties and standards..

We love that you found Sea Patch to be "great" and described it as "Relaxing in Style"! We also, are thrilled that you found Bravos Boyz "service to be good".
I am very sorry that the security system made you feel a little unsafe. The purpose of a security system is to help you feel more secure. Many of our homes are high end and as is seen around the world high end homes have security systems. I hope this makes sense and more than anything we at Bravos Boyz hope to see you again in one of our homes! Thanks for your review.

fabulous vacation location and spectacular house!
Posted on: 8/14/2015
We completely enjoyed every minute of our "Sea Patch" vacation. Everything needed was considered and provided-wonderful house, sweet beach just steps away and a pool and lanai that made leaving the house to do anything else a difficult choice! The only advice we would add is that food and grocery options on Vieques are very limited so do your shopping before you get on the plane/ferry and bring some items with you. Not much in the way of fresh fruits and veg surprisingly. Otherwise quite perfect!

Thanks for your glorious review of Sea Patch! When you say you enjoyed every minute we are smiling because that is always our goal. Bravos Boyz designed the architecture, chose the furniture and designed and maintain the gardens and we take a very personal pride in Sea Patch. We live close by and love the beach too only a few steps away. Hope to see you again! Bravos Boyz Management.

Fabulous villa on a fabulous island!
Posted on: 8/14/2015
This was our 4th trip to Vieques. We fell in love with this island the first time we landed in 2002. Each visit is better and better, and this time our stay at Sea Patch was the icing on the cake. Very private, close to the beach and minutes away from the conveniences of town, but far enough that we felt like we were the only ones on the island. I cannot thank Bravos Boyz enough for their hospitality. I let them know of a minor issue (loose towel rack), and when we returned from the beach that day it had been fixed, and there were fresh mangos from their tree left in our kitchen. Now that is service. Each time I leave this island, I am not only thinking about how wonderful of a time I had, but when am I coming back. Thank you Sea Patch and Bravos Boyz for the best trip yet.

Great villa. Great weather. Great fun.

This villa is situated well: close to staples and fuel; close to a variety of restaurants; and walking distance to a small, sandy beach. It has a pool that was easily accessible and inviting. There are multiple areas to enjoy sun and/or shade. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with lovely en-suite bathrooms. The villa's open common areas are especially nice for a group. A real issue is the lack of window coverings in the Master bedroom area (at least needs lower 2/3rds of the windows covered). Bravos Boyz management service was perfect.

My wife and I stayed there for a week with two other couples. The house was great. It has a big pool, 3 bedrooms and each has its own bathroom plus a powder room in the main level for guests. The house was big so we could have some privacy and it didn't feel crowed with the 6 of us. It has a beach 10 feet away, but it's not one of the best beaches, so you are better off driving and exploring other beaches, which are not far at all. We had a blast, the staff was super professional and were available whenever we needed them. Alberto was super nice and gave us a ton of extra tips for our trip. The house had everything we needed and more. I will definitely use Bravos Boyz if I go back to Vieques. Highly recommended!

Vieques - Sea Patch - Perfect friends vaca getaway
Posted on: 8/14/2015
We stayed at Sea Patch in mid-March and were impressed from the airport pickup to the property "tour" and the Bravos Boyz' availability through the week. The home is perfect for 6 people; each couple has a private and nicely decorated bedroom (with wonderful linens), private bath and deck. We enjoyed the upper deck overlooking the ocean for cocktails in the evening and the expansive pool area for coffee in the morning. The dining, living and pool areas were wonderful gathering spots. Our only suggestions - just nits - are: more pots & pans in the kitchen; and more toilet paper and paper towels (beyond the initial roll provided). It was very nice having the washer and dryer with laundry detergent. We appreciated all of the tips that alberto provided on our arrival and found some of the most beautiful beaches and superb dining (El Quepino best "upscale" and Barefoot Cafe best "casual"). Weather was perfect and we enjoyed the relative lack of "tourist traps". Wild horses and stray dogs are abundant and though we could not take home one of the beautiful free-roaming horses, we did "rescue" a most adorable 3-month old puppy, since named Rico. Again, the Bravos Boyz were so kind and supportive to allow the pup at Sea Patch for a couple of days prior to our departure. Overall - thank you for an outstanding place to stay, highlighted by outstanding service and care.

This is the 4th time we've stayed at a "Bravos Boyz" property and we have been EXTREMELY satisfied everytime. These guys just "get it." Vieques is a beautiful and unique island that is really unmatched in the Caribbean, but you occasionally run into service industry folks who have no clue what service is. These guys do a fantastic job. This house is great, with 3 large bedrooms, ample storage, and a full kitchen. All appliances are provided and worked well. There was wireless Internet which was amazingly quick. Everything was clean and the house was very well decorated. The pool is wonderful, starting at 3ish feet and ending around 5.5 feet. There are plenty of nice loungers outside to catch the sun on. The grounds are full of tropical plants and "water gardens" kept in old sugar plantation pots. We could not have asked for more, we highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful Villa Made our Trip to Vieques Very Enjoyable
Posted on: 4/16/2015
Our family of four (myself, husband, 2 children ages 12 and 14) very much enjoyed our stay at Sea Patch.

Posted on: 5/30/2017
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Patch.

Posted on: 2/26/2015
We just returned after a week in Vieques.

Disappointed with the details
Posted on: 2/14/2015
The property is mostly as it appears in the photos.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better rental

Wonderful and Relaxing Family Vacation

Our family loved Sea Patch...the proximity to the ocean, the inviting pool and comfortable beds made for a relaxing vacation. The amenities were top notch, the island and the beaches (loved Blue Beach) were amazing and Thom from Bravo Boyz made sure we felt comfortable and safe. We would definitely come back and stay only at this house again...

Perfect Island Retreat

Posted on: 12/12/2014
Just returned from a stay at Sea Patch Beach House in Vieques.
